Timelines & Payment Policies
Booking. I am typically booked 4-6 weeks out, and in some cases (such as weddings and peak senior season), it can be a year or more. It is never too early to book your session with me! With the exception of weddings and other large events, I do NOT require a booking deposit, but expect that you'll honor your scheduled date.
Non-Refundable Session Fee. For Seniors: A session fee of $400 (plus tax) is due at the time of your session. For all other sessions, the full package price is due on the day of your session. Please see my Investment Page for more details. All packages and products are sold separately.
Package Pricing. A minimum purchase of Package 1 (or the Basic - if a family session) is required. A la carte items are only available for purchase WITH any package purchase. Most packages include an a la carte credit which can be applied to any item in my a la carte menu.
Proof/Preview Gallery. You can expect your proofs within 14 business days of your session date. From there, you'll choose your “favorites”. Your proofing gallery for is final image selection only; strictly prohibited from screen capture, print, or social media, etc. and protected under the US Copyright Law from such actions. This gallery will be available to view for 14 business days. Your order and final payment are due on the 14th day.
Proofs vs. Finals. Your proofs will fully processed and edited for exposure, tone, cropping, straightening, etc. Proofs are for reviewing and selection purposes only, strictly prohibited under the USC 17 (US Copyright Law) from social media sharing, download, and print. Your final images will be polished off to look their very best; I'll address blemishes, background distractions, etc. and additional enhancements, as needed. Your finals are photos you purchase with your package (quantities vary depending on package). These will be authorized for download, personal use, sharing, social media posts, and print.
Order Placement & Payment. Providing outstanding customer service, in a timely manner is my highest priority. In order to uphold my production and delivery timelines to you and my other clients, your order MUST be placed and paid in full by the 14 business day of your poof gallery delivery. If you need additional time, there will be a $25 charge per each additional day. Exceptions can be made under extenuating and unexpected circumstances only.
Final Digital & Product Delivery. You can expect your final gallery of purchased images within 3 weeks of payment. Complete instructions will be provided on how you can download your images.
You can also expect product proofs at this time (for example, albums, books, canvases, etc.). Please see my Product Guarantee and the importance of proofing your products. Once I have your final product approval, you can expect your products to be delivered to you within 14 business days (this may vary slightly depending the season and production times of my print lab).
Responsible Party. In most cases I work with a single point of contact (typically the person who has reached out to me about my services and booked me). I consider this person to be the "Responsible Party". For high school seniors this must be a parent or guardian at least 18 years or older. In some cases, there may be other financial contributors and/or decision makers. (Example; a spouse, other family members, etc.). I expect the Responsible Party to be in full communication with all contributors and/or decision makers, to avoid misunderstanding and conflict. Regardless of the circumstances, the Responsible Party will be expected to uphold the Timelines and Payment Policies stated herein, and will also be the recipient of all products and services.
